OHIO CONGRESSWOMAN STEPHANIE TUBBS JONES NEAR DEATH

Last night Stephanie Tubbs Jones suffered an aneurysm while driving in Cleveland Heights and had been stabilized at a hospital in East Cleveland. Per the Cleveland Plain dealer, she is in critial condition and is not expected to make it.
According to wkyc.com “around 9 p.m. Tuesday night an officer observed a car traveling east on Mayfield Road that was weaving. The car then turned north onto Lee. The officer activated his emergency lights and says the vehicle, later learned to be operated by Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones, pulled to the side then started rolling across the south bound lanes.“
For those of you who don’t know, congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones became the first black woman to represent Ohio in Congress when she was elected in 1998. She was also one of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s biggest boosters during the primaries, she threw her support to Barack Obama in June.
Tubbs Jones was set to be a superdelegate at next week’s Democratic National Convention in Denver next week.
She is only 58 yerars old.
